She has training in trauma-informed practices as well as in yoga for traumatic brain injury. Laura specializes in working with people who are interested in giving their busy or anxious brains some well deserved rest to make room for their whole selves – body\, mind\, heart and soul. She is a Yoga Alliance RYT 200-hour certified teacher and has taught yoga professionally since 2019. \nLaura began practicing yoga movement\, breath and meditation in her 20s. She practiced on and off for the next two decades\, but devoted most of her time to her work in health care policy and advocacy. At midlife\, Laura returned to yoga more fully\, finding it helped her discover a sense of calm within the storm of our challenging political times\, feel more connected to her whole self and better able to connect with others from a place of integration and compassion.
